Natsume gets two images because I just love this show ;_;

Despite all my love for it, however, I don’t really have much to say about it. Before this one, all of the ayakashi shows I’ve watched have always had that action side to it where they use their awesome powers and fabulous lightworks~ For Natsume Yuujinchou, however, there isn’t much of that. It’s just pure heartwarming episodic storytelling. And I just loved it~

Well, all in all, I kind of liked this show. Even though there are episodes where they basically only talk and have tea and we always see Jouslain relaxing with his Francia on his garden throne drinking tea. They may have overdone the character building a bit (what with all the tea sessions) but, it wasn’t bad, imo. The only problem is that it had to end just as the story was about to pick up the pace! I really wish they’d make a second season. If not, at least I hope there are english translations of the novels out there. I haven’t really checked, so I have no idea if there are.

Anyway, this series has now made me more curious than ever about LoGH and the way it seems to be a legend for people who like this genre. Hopefully, I’ll find time to check it out despite it having 100+++ episodes and all.

And now, I leave you with this thought… Do you know that Genovia anthem in Princess Diaries? Imagine it being sung with Tytania instead of Genovia in the lyrics… PERRRRRRRFECTO!!! Deshou?? Lalalalala~
