Papa ;_;

This episode was when I thought I was gonna really, really like Clannad after all. However, things can turn around in just one episode.

So, uhh, they threatened to kill off Ushio which made me  go ;_; q_q   NOOOOOOOO~

Then the next episode the world ends and the girl is Ushio and the robot is Tomoya and I get this

Yay, happy family~ …right.

Ushio is still cute I guess…

saying that the fun things are only about to begin, and then… this.

THAT’S ALL FOLKS!!

Uhh, so they end it with the beginning. Seriously, there’s a limit to how DEEP you can get with an anime that has people singing Dango, Dango in the episode. Not that I have anything against that, but it is exploitable.

So, again, seriously, THERE IS A LIMIT. I mean, so they were trying to be deep and all about it, I guess? I have nothing against the supernatural interleaved with the real in anime since, well, that occurs in like 99.9% of the anime I watch, I think, and I actually like that idea of the world that is nearest yet furthest thing, but….. There’s just a limit. Or I’m just being bitter ‘cuz I really thought Nagisa was better off dead and was much more easier not to hate when she’s dead, and Tomoya loved her, and I like Tomoya, and when people who love dead people talk about dead people, you just feel that love they have and the longing for that which can never be and so you stop hating dead people BUT SERIOUSLY. LIMIT. 

Was it because they realized that at that point they couldn’t pull off a very happy ending anymore after “killing” off Ushio so they resurrected Nagisa ‘cuz the world already ended anyway, WHAAAAT? Key/KyotoAni, I thought resurrection was a Sunrise thing??? WHYyyyYYYYYyyy? yyy  :004: 

Okay, coherence level down to -273 degrees.

Episode 22 highlight #1: SOOOO CUTE

But maybe it really is just me. It’s just that Ushio was such a hopeful existence to me. It’s a personal thing. Well, maybe not hopeful, but more of comforting. I liked it the way it was, even if Ushio had semi-abandonment issues when she grew up. That’s mean, I know.

Episode 22 Highlight #2: Cool Tomoyo Scene. This is my favorite effect, blurring + moving. :D

Hmm. I guess the exchange between Fuko and her sister was kind of a highlight too. And the song was a highlight too, definitely. :D

Sooo, anyway, all in all, I still like Clannad. Anime are like people. They’re imperfect. You accept their faults and love them anyway. Though it may seem like it at this point, I am not a freak who only has anime for friends, okay. Thank you.
